I got this one finished, yesterday, and listed on Reverb. Trying to get stuff listed for stimulus.
It's a solid walnut beveled body. The body is heavy but the whole guitar came in at 8lbs. 10oz. It's not as heavy as I expected. No grain fill.
Pickups are Fender Pure Vintage '52s - my fave "budget" Tele pickups. They retail for $110 but you can find guys selling mint (often unused) sets on Reverb for $60-ish.
This has a MIM neck with the 2-pin locking tuners. That's a flamed maple neck pickup ring.
This guitar plays and sounds great! I think the pickups work well in this body. This has the vintage, slightly darker, Tele tone.

That's a beaut! Do you ever build righty's?

Sorry... not sugar pine. 100 y/o pine found in a barn in Quebec.

Ooh lala, pin du Québec.
The grain on the back of that tele is really really cool.

It is. I think it looks better there than on the front. 🤔
It seems like it would be distracting on the front.

To be up-front... I did not make this body. It came from my usually supplier on Reverb.

Sorry... not sugar pine. 100 y/o pine found in a barn in Quebec. Well...that's a good way to justify a high sale price. I keed! I keed! That walnut is really nice. The back looks like koa. Many years ago I got a Warmoth chambered walnut Strat body from Electron and built up an HSH with Filtertrons. It's a great guitar and I still have it.

Welp, the wal*nutty caster sold. 😎
I need to build more of these.
I’ll post a pic of that pine body. It’s pretty cool.

Beautiful guitar!
If I were a very wealthy man I'd buy it and give it to the worship leader at our church. He's a lefty. For a while he played a lefty Gretsch, but now a Taylor acoustic-electric.

A pal of mine plays a Taylor T5 in his church band. I totally get it because it can get acoustic and electric sounds. Really nice sounds from sparkly acoustic stuff all the way to saturated Les Paul tones.

C'mon, man! You know the next best thing to building another guitar is pics of someone else's project underway! I have a Tele-looking thing in work as we speak. The back is white pine; the glue-up occurred this morning just after breakfast:
