From past threads here, I think we'll all get a kick out of this YT video of a "Millennial Job Interview."

Is the valley girl mentality that ubiquitous now?
I do not like getting up early either, but I like getting paid. Until I find that job that lets me start later, I will just get up early.

The thing I like about retirement is not having to crawl out of bed at 4:30 AM like I did until a little over 3 years ago. Every morning.

I also crawled out of bed at 4 or 4:30 am every day when I was working. It took quite some time to adjust that to 5:30 or 6:00 but like this morning, I was up at 4:30. 🙁

That video is hilarious! As for me, I prefer early in the morning to be the end of my shift, not the beginning. I've worked night shift for over 30 years, and I'm about to retire from my current job because I hate it. I'll then look for another job for the next few years until I can retire completely, and I plan on my next job being night shift too!

I'm retired but still get up at 4:00 or 4:30 AM after doing that for the last 5 years. I wanted to be to work by 6:00 at the latest but I was usually earlier than that. The earlier I started the earlier I could go home. I didn't have a clock to punch and I mostly worked alone so my schedule was flexible. I still start nodding out every evening at about 8:00 so that's when I go to bed. Until I can find a reason to change I'm going to keep doing that. I like the early morning hours. It's quiet and my wife doesn't get up until 7:30 or so usually. That's my "Me" time.

I'll sleep in when I'm dead.
Just like the epitaph on Merv Griffin's headstone, "I will not be right back after this message."

My body clock has settled in at a 3:00 AM rising time. After a career of erratic work schedules, I view it as my brain spinning a roulette wheel, with the ball stopping at 3. Very quiet in my 'hood at that time. If I wanted to go out on my front lawn and bust out some break dance moves, nobody around to sneer. (Totally different at noon)
