I rewatched the 1st 3 episodes last night. WW II movies are almost like soending time with my dad (Army WWII and Korea). Miss him a lot sometimes. Good series of 1 hour movies. Again, Tom Hanks is no slouch, or that Spielberg guy. Bittersweet.

That's one where I can turn it on at any point in the 10-episode series and be immediately engrossed. One of the finest shows ever on television.

I have the series in Blu-ray in the metal collectors box. One of the best portrayals ever made according to many who were actually there.

As portrayed in the series, the late Dick Winters was a courageous guy and a Hell of a decent officer. The interviews of the actual man that I've seen did nothing to alter that opinion. RIP.
The episode featuring the Brécourt Manor artillery battery assault is maybe the standout one, but they're all excellent.
