Is anyone using wireless for home use?
What one are you using and do you like it?
I'm looking at all of the new home use amps with bluetooth and/or wireless. I don't think I want/need a new small amp, but I think I might like not having a cable.
Thanks

I can recommend this one, because I have one and I haven't had any issues with it so far. Very easy to use and looks great IMO.Ammoon

I use the Line 6 relay G10 around the house and it has good range and no latency. Around $180 online. I've used mine on stage as well with no issues.

We tried a couple of them at church but could alleviate the interference issues. I can't remember which brand or model.

The one I linked above is sometimes advertised as 5.8Ghz. I've had no interference issues so far with it, and it's less than $50.

Love the XVive; used or a couple of years live with no issues.

Been using for home use about 3 years. Also purchased a less expensive brand, for about $50.00, which you get what you pay for. They work, but the Line 6 is superior.

I’ve been using the Getaria GWS8 @ $40. No problems or issues. I’m using it with the Ibanez PNB14E guitar scale bass. This’s part of my effort to stealthily use this bass in acoustic venues utilizing the Phil Jones Double Four battery powered amp. It has been 100% effective. So far the only ones who noticed, saw me packing up the two by four and commented that they were unaware that I was using an amp.

I’ve been using the Getaria GWS8 @ $40. No problems or issues. Where is the "like" button? I've got a more expensive Shure wireless, but it's more hassle to set up and use. I haven't noticed any degradation of quality using my cheap Ammoon wireless. OP said he was looking for a wireless for home use! You can't get much cheaper than the Getaria or the Ammoon, and they work great. Good battery life also.

"and commented that they were unaware that I was using an amp." Did you have it plugged in? SOMEone had to ask!

"and commented that they were unaware that I was using an amp." Did you have it plugged in? SOMEone had to ask! Sure did, it was my intent that the volume would mix perfectly with the other/louder instruments, and not be conspicuously present. Though if any Sherlock Holmes were in the circle the feedback buster would have given me away. The rear facing passive radiator provides a kind of saturated sound making the exact point of sound source obscured, particularly the closer to a wall or corner I can get. It’s a cool setup, tons of fun. If I was using the irreverent Cigarbox bass their would have been many questions. Maybe next time “o)

XVive. Not sure what model but I've used it about 8 mo. Small, easy to charge and will last for about 5 hrs. I've never had the power go out at a gig or anywhere as a matter of fact. I think I paid a little over $150 for mine. Store them in your guitar case. I've had no interference issues.

I have been thinking about getting myself one of those, but haven't decidd to pull the trigger yet. I've read some flattering reviews on a very simple and user friendly one, Xvive U2.
Sometimes I think I'm a dinosaur, I'm still into coiled cables.

I've been giving this some thought. Wireless to a modeling amp or pedal board seems just fine. I don't know how I feel about wireless to a vintage champ, or tweed build style amp. It's almost like the cord is part of whole package.
I'm going to have to look at wireless as an option for pedal board or modeler connections. I'll probably still have to use a cable to an older or old style build amp.
Tweed cables, Coiled cables, wireless, all just fun options.....

Thanks to this thread I ordered the Guitaria, got it yesterday. Works just fine, but I don't have any needs outside of the house. In a gig situation I'd probably just use a cable for fear of reliability issues. And any gigs I'd play would likely have me occupying all of four square feet anyway.

I just found the Xvive for $85 on Amazon, if anyone is interested. That's still about twice what the cheaper brands go for.

So far no issues with his. I was concerned that there may be interference with the other wireless devices(microphones) in use but so far no issues. Amazing stuff for the price.
