Didn’t make the hair on the back of my neck take notice like my SG does, but very very nice tones , especially those dang bridge tones. Clean is pretty good thru my dsl , but the fun begins when I switch to the bridge, roll off the tone and engage my ts9 . Still my preference is Fenders thru Fender, but my Broadcaster is becoming my number 1 and most versatile guitar. The Marshall experience seals the deal.

Oh, you need to try that Broadcaster through a Marshall 1974x (the 18 watt combo). Turn it up to 8 or 9, and blast away on the bridge pup. The most glorious sound you may ever hear.

So now you need a Marshall 18w.
Seriously.
Actually, I have a VHT Standard 18 and it does that tone quite well. And it is a great tone-set.

I see why the Esquire is so popular. I could almost live on the bridge pickup , almost. Then I remember how good the neck pickup is .
