Starting any reply with "see". Inappropriately adding "you know" into any sentence. Saying that a situation has "bad optics". Misquotes such as "it's a doggy dog world" or "it's a main swirl", even though some are amusing.

There also seems to be an annoying trend in cricket to call batsmen "batters". For me "batter" is something you get with your Fish and Chips. ;-)

Curated by.... I thought only art museums had curators. Now anytime somebody organizes something, they curate it.

Don't call me "cuz" or "hoss".
We're not related and I'm neither a steed nor draft animal.

Don't call me "cuz" or "hoss". We're not related and I'm neither a steed nor draft animal. I'm from the South. The phrase "Hoss" has a necessary meaning. In a deposition in ordinary course a 'good old boy' will politely respond to your questions and refer to you as 'Sir". When he says, "Hoss" that means you crossed a line and he's coming across the table directly and bad things are gonna happen fast.

Some people use "brother" or "bro" quite in-distinctively too, and that irks me.

"When he says, "Hoss" that means you crossed a line and he's coming across the table directly and bad things are gonna happen fast." That's a funny visual.😄 Sounds like it should be followed by a “this town ain’t big enough for the two of us”.

Starting any conversation with the word "So,". It might be cool to watch all the jeopardy re-runs and just watch after the first commercial, when the host interviews the contestant, and see who starts with "so," and see if they won the match.
This has been a peeve of mine for 2 or 3 years now. ...it's not showing any signs of stopping!

"Neologism" ... I had to look it up. This is one of the definitions I came across.
Psychiatry: a new word, often consisting of a combination of other words, that is understood only by the speaker: occurring most often in the speech of schizophrenics.
