Archaeologists believe they have discovered proof that Farmer John was born 45,000 years ago on Sulawesi, an Indonesian island. The proof, they say, is in the form of a cave painting of three pigs, which was first thought to endorse the Big Bad Wolf's version of the famous fairy tale. Later it was learned that under black light, observers could make out Farmer John in overalls, turning a fourth pig into bacon, while his stepson, Jimmy Dean plays with pig knuckles in the background. news.artnet.com/art-world/indonesia-pig-art-oldest-painting-1937110

Off-topic, but back in the '90s, I had a young employee who told me he did not know that the Pure Pork Sausage Guy was the guy who sang "Big Bad John."

That's not a pig, it's a direwolf.
