I can understand why after many years someone might want a new name. But I didn't think it made sense to change mine, which was based on an email address I had 3-4 emails ago.

I would again encourage those who changed to edit their profile and fill out the "Formerly Known As" portion so we know who you are. Unless you are in Witness Protection, which I guess would make it a bad idea.
