Does anyone have experience with the Roland Blues Cube Hot line out? I'm curious about the quality of the cab sim and sound?

Quick search from another website :- "Thought I'd pass along my experience so far with using the Line Out on my Blues Cube Artist for live use. The band I play with decided recently to go with IEMs for monitoring. No more heavy monitor wedges, and I can finally hear myself on stage! As part of this configuration, I am sending my BCA's signal from the Line Out to our PA. This works VERY well - the sound is tremendous through my IEMs. No loss of tone quality and sounds very much like like the speaker output. The only side effect is that the Master volume (only) is disabled on the Line Out signal, and your overall level is controlled through the PA/mixer. This is actually a GOOD thing - no more turning up the amp! Just turn up the volume control on your IEM receiver. . We have only tried this in practice - so far so good. We have an upcoming gig so I can provide some feedback on how that goes. BTW - you can still have the speaker output activated on the amp (controlled with the Master Volume), but I put this on the 1/2 watt setting to blend with the PA mains. Sounds great!"

I haven't.......,,yet.
I just bought my Blues Cube Hot last week and I'm loving it so far.
I'll be trying it out when we get back to gigging in a couple of months. ;-)

Leftee, the Blues Cube Hot is a 30 watt SS amp, It gets compared to the Blues Junior tone wise.
Thank you Ayns for that info!!!

I just looked it up. It’s also small. Sounds like a great package.

I just looked it up. It’s also small. Sounds like a great package. As you may know, I've been a massive fan of the Mustang III (#1 gigging amp for me, last 7-8 years) and more recently the Katana 100. However I was still looking for an ultra-light gigging amp, and was really looking for a Tonemaster Deluxe, when a mint used Blues Cube Hot came up locally at a great price. I've only played it for a couple of hours, but I think it will be my new gigging amp, and it sounds better than the MIII and the Katana. I read a few professional reviews and they sat it's "touring pro" quality. I also read a user review that said "I bought a Blues Cube yesterday, I'm putting my DRRI up for sale today" Edit to add, I currently own the following valve amps:- Pro Jr Marshall JVM 210 combo Orange TH30 Engl Screamer combo Traynor ycv40 SCXD JCM 900 Fender Super 210
