In a state of utter toastlessness, that's where! Toast-deprived... Toastally-impoverished... Bereft of the warm, golden-brown grain slabs of the morning...
I'm not sure life would be worth living without toast...
3 pieces a day as my minimum.
You?

I love toast; it's such a simple, brilliant, delicious idea.
We were poor, I used to have beans on toast at least 3-4 times a week.
I had beans on toast for lunch today. I still love it. ;-)

I haven't owned a toaster in about 30 years, but we used to enjoy that toasty goodness when dining out. You know ... back before the Dark Ages came upon us.

The only thing better than toast is 2 pieces with cheese and or bacon between them.

Bacon toast: it's almost overkill...
Almost...

Every sandwich I eat is on toasted bread. Even peanut butter and jelly. The toast makes it even better.

I gave up bread. Too many carbs. I really miss toast.
Especially rye toast with a big glob of Kerry Gold butter.
Sob.

Oh well, don't take it too hard: you probably play guitar better'n I do.
We each have our own, unique skill set...

I had toast for dinner. Two pieces, actually. Ok, 4.
With bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo in between.
Ok, and avocado.

Toast "with bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo in between. Ok, and avocado" And...Auf Kiltre raises the "almost" too much bar... ___________________

Let's be honest: what doesn't toast make even better?

Where would we be?
We’d be forced to bake bread fresh every couple of days, that’s where. I shudder to think. I love toast.

Blood orange marmalade on your toast is arguably the best thing you can put on top of it.

I'm so glad I decided to initiate this thread.
Clearly, ya'll have just been waiting to open up about your feelings toward toast, but just didn't know where to begin...

Toast is on my list of things I don’t often eat, but when I do, then I want it all the time.

Where would we be? We’d be forced to bake bread fresh every couple of days, that’s where. I shudder to think. I love toast. But toast made from a loaf fresh out of the Panasonic a couple of hours before is the best! Extra fluffy and moist below that crisp, buttery surface ... drool A favourite meal is 2 thick slices, hot buttered, 2 soft fried eggs one one, 1/2 can of baked beans on the other. But yeah, to keep belly fat under control, a loaf is now a once a fortnight treat.

Bread's already been cooked. I'll be dag-gummed if I'm going to cook it again.
