Yay....all that followed the track in the link is the other track from the record......no invasive, unwanted stuff.

In case you are curious.... Kik and snare....1073s (421 and SM57) Overheads KM184s into a Focusrite two channel pre....don't recall the model number but I think it was their flagship pre at that time. Overhead comps... two channel Valley People....that's an underrated comp in my view. Desk is a modified Trident quad console (now stereo). I think it's 32x24. Bass would have been a 1073 or a John Hardy 990 into an 1176. Room mic was a U67 into...I can't remember. Anyway......everything went into the Trident line inputs and was sent to a 2" Studer recorder. Think the two track was an Ampex 1/2" machine....could have been 1/4".
Who would have thought that all this juicy gear lives in the Yukon.....I have been lucky. cheers

That was excellent. Love the tempos changeups, the presence of the vocal. Performance of instruments top notch, wow. How'd you get that stereo movement on the accordian(?)?

Listening again to "Ravens dancing on an old tin roof", this time through the soundbar. Love it!

Mr. Kiltre Are you hearing something different in Ravens via the soundbar? Pretty sure it's just a stereo mix.

No, just a second enjoyable listen. First time was through cans.
