I've been thru a lot of amps since joining the old place and finally found the amps I've wanted because a great tech and some good friends helped me to understand the core tones I wanted. Also fixed those amps to be the best they could be!!! Thanks Willie walshb SMark and friends!
The amps that get these tones thus far are

"Guitar Amps that I currently own" (Keep in mind I play bass and no longer play any guitar.)
The fun and quirky first:
Vox Pathfinder 15 model V9168 (no reverb) Vox Pathfinder P15 SMR 2x10 cabinet and head cabinet (I also commissioned a custom Vox clone with 1x12 greenback.) Vox Pathfinder P15 SMR408 4x8 inch speaker cabinet and head cabinet.
Fender Acoustasonic Jr DSP 80 (I think) 2x8 speakers Fender Acoustasonic Jr DSP 80 (I think) 2x8 speakers Bought the second as a gift and changed my mind.
Fender Ultimate Chorus DSP 2x12
Fender Blues Jr Tweed stock Fender Blues III (black control plate) stock.
........
The above does not include any of my bass amps or speaker cabinets....nor both drum kits and does not include any PA gear. Someday I need to start disposing gear rather than acquiring gear.
Hello, my name is Fat Tony and I am a "gearaholic".
Fender Hot Rod Deluxe (stock, first generation, I think)

And contemplating opening a similar thread for guitars.

Too many:-
Marshall JVM 215 2 X 12 combo Orange TH30 1 x12 combo Engl Screamer 50 1 X 12 combo Fender Mustang III Fender SCXD Fender Pro Jr Traynor YCV40WR Fender CyberTwin Vox AC 15 VR Marshall JCM 900 100w head Marshall Valvestate 50 combo Fishman Loudbox 100
I'd happily trade most of the above for a pro quality lightweight combo such as a Quilter Aviator, Boss Katana etc. Any recommendations ?

This is what I have now. A 1948 Supro Supreme, a 1959 Gibson GA-5 Skylark, a 1964 AA763 Fender Pro, and a 1970 Ampeg GU-12. I also have a 2004 Gabriel Sound Garage Marshall 18 watt replica, but it's not pictured. I've been through lots of amps since 1978 though. I'd hate to have to list them!

Mostly play Fender guitars and amps. I'm 71 and have had a guitar since 1964. Got serious in 1975.

Current amps are, in order of purchase: 2013 Magnatone Varsity 2019 BOSS Katana 50 2019 Fender Pro Junior IV in fawn
Next grab will be either/or both a JC-22 and/or a JC-40. If my Magnatone sells (on consignment at a local store) I will grab both JCs. Like Bill Black, I am into combos. 😀

Nothing amazing, I REALLY want a Badcat Hotcat! But dang they are spendy.
I have an Electro-Harmonix Mig-50 head going into an old Ampeg 4x12 cab loaded with Celestions. I got that cabinet around 1992 and it has been great.
I also have a Roland Jazz Chorus JC-120 from around 1982 I think.
Plus:
Fender Mustang II Modeling amp Marshall Valvestate 8080 Marshall MG-15 Mini Half-stack

Here's a pic of the Peavey Classic 20. Click to enlarge Yes, that was the price in the used pile at GC. 2x 12AX7s and 2x EL84s (sort of a Vox AC15). Everything worked, and it had a Celestion Gold 10 in it.
