WOW.
If successful, this will change lives in more ways than we can imagine right now.
Even if it's partially successful, it will open new paths toward ultimately finding not only a cure, but a way to prevent cancer.
Fascinating stuff.

After 60 years of the "war on cancer", one would think we would have won by now. Curing cancer changes medicine in ways I doubt the industry wants. Call me skeptical but after all these years, I am.

That is exactly what I was alluding to in my "lives will change in more ways" comment.
There is an entire industry built up around the 'find the cure' effort, much of which is not medical in the least.
