I had a blast, thanks for all the effort it took to pull this off. Ya’ll sure let me play for a long time, I was starting to think no other bassist were showing up. It was also interesting that I never played any of these songs before.
The banquet was superb. It did slipped my mind just how loud you six string guys can play. You could see dust couds on the moon from the vibrations.
Hope it happens again.

Question??? Do you have enough drummers? (Or: Would you allow us "Joisey Shore" players past the Mason/Dixon line into Georgia.)
I've been following this jam for a while, and always wanted to come down to hang out & play. I'm familiar with the "Clamfest" & "March on DC" jam formats; just wanted to know what to expect. Any input from from my friends & fellow musicians would be greatly appreciated. Can't confirm yet, but am very interested in attending!

And-Really, you can't have enough drummers! Mo is Betta! As formats go?? Kinda laid back and free form. Will throw out some set lists and folks can (suggest tunes) plus say what they would like to play on. It would be a blast to hear your fave amp Leftee! (bring it Be great to see you here!

I'd be surprised if Leftee could pick a favorite amp, but I'm sure it would sound good, whatever he brings! Marshalls are always welcome!
I didn't make it last year, last minute stuff, but that's not gonna happen again. I'll probably bring the SC20 like I was going to do last year. And a Variax in case some acoustic is needed....?
I really hope Leftee, Grizbear and maybe even rickyguitar can make it! And hopefully mojodelic sees this, it wouldn't be the same without him. Y'all have to come, because I will be there this time, and none of you even realize how famous I am.....in my own mind, anyway!
Ok, my wife actually thinks I'm pretty good.....but she knows nothing about music.
Seriously, hoping to meet some new jammers this year!

I have a Laney half stack as well. It’s about a foot tall. It should look good next to the Stonehenge.

Last year my traveling companion was camped not too far from the jam, saved me two nights in a hotel. She is planting the same thing this year, I’ll probably follow her up, not sure what day we will arrive at the camp ground, it’ll be a few days before the event.
Looking forward to it, it’ll be cool meeting a few FDPers I’ve known For years, since 1999. I’m assuming I don’t need an amp, I haven’t yet.

Real Simple! Real Quick! Thanks hushnel for correcting my mistake on the date IN my original post! My Bad! But your original post was from 2021 and that year, it was July 24th. I think maybe you should have started a new thread this year, less confusion...?

I’m assuming I don’t need an amp, I haven’t yet. You would be correct! Same Ampeg BA 115 you used before as it's the house bass rig. Hey Grizbear-NJ, You want to throw out some tunes? all good

That's my que! Yes Sir, indeed I do.
I will suggest five songs for consideration. I think they are simple to play musically, easy vocals, and really fun to play. From my limited experience with Mojo & Busta; I have no doubt this Georgia Jam crew can handle anything. (You guys are on your own for vocals, I don't sing)
Johnny B. Good Keep Your Hands to Yourself Pretty Woman Glory Days Gimme' Three Steps
I should warn you, I have an unwritten policy when attending any Jam. "I will "NOT" let a song be scratched from the list for lack of a drummer" (even if I have to play every song) (which at one Clamfest I did - Long story) Any song you want me to play, you got it. Even if I have to learn it then and there.
Full disclosure: I have been in contact with our Host (Zenland); I am fully aware that your song list system is "Lay Back", no problem at all. So it is up to you guys to decide to put me in whenever you want to. I am not afraid to do any musical genre.
I also have enough experience from other different past Jams to know that you string players have no intention of turning down your amps; (especially outdoors) so I am bringing my "Out-Door Cymbals" (The BIG guns) to compensate. All is good; Jam On!

No fear here, I used to be uncomfortable playing tunes I wasn’t familiar with, even key changes used to freaked me out a bit, that was a long time ago. Not so much anymore. Thanks, in part, to Victor and Anthony.
I think last year or maybe the year before, I used the Squier Bisonic Bronco Bass. Modified by the addition of the Guild Bisonic bass pickup, made by Curtis Novak, I had to make a router jig to install it professionally. In all fairness to this inexpensive bass, it is amazing, a one in a thousand and worthy of the upgrade.
I’m looking forward to seeing ya’all.
