UK Lockdown was partially eased last Monday, and we played our first gig on Friday night. It was at a small local theatre/ music venue about an hour drive from me. It's normally 200+ capacity, but attendance was restricted to 40ish due to social distancing. Tickets were £12 (we normally don't charge entry for gigs and get paid by the venue) and it was sold out. Proper stage, House PA and Sound Guy, 9 monitors at the front of the stage, so all we had to bring was our backline and guitars. I only recognised 2 people in the audience that had seen us before (our original bass player and partner) but first set went great. Second set went even better, and we overran our finish time by 15 minutes. We would have played on, but the venue cut the PA and the crowd, such as it was, nearly rioted We played really well, even though we hadn't gigged for nearly 9 months, only had 3 rehearsals, and it was our new drummer's first gig My new amp (Blues Cube) had its first outing as well and it sounded fantastic to me. So, it looks like there is going to be a massive enthusiastic demand for live music once Lockdown is fully eased next month. I was still aching from head to toe two days later though :

Very good to hear about.
The reason I met Queenie was I liked to experience live music. Queenie liked to dance and it put us in the same place.
