The e906 is a great mic for guitar cabs. It's been a while since I've used mine and recently set it up for a project. While I still opted for the Eleven Rack tracks I'm determined to spend some time locking in a sound. I was pretty amazed at the rejection of room noise during my test. Hanging the mic on the grill may work great for live situations but I want to experiment with putting some distance between the mic and speaker with a shield on the backside to catch any potential reflection.

I ordered one. I looked at the frequency plot and it's a little different than all the other dynamic mics I have so it looks like a good addition to my collection. That's almost SM57 prices and for that kind of money it's a no-brainer.

Just left the Mojave after a week recording with minimal gear- no laptop so no editor, used it as a straight amp with fx I loaded before leaving.
Lea Paul Studio HP (the fancy one from '16), Boss Katana, Senn e906, and a little Zoom 8 track.
Amazed how happy I am with such limit stuff, the 906 is a keeper.
