Beautiful. Makes me think of Star Trek.

Nice! In all my years I have never used a digital desk. Used many large format analog ones though. I think I would be lost on a digital console.

I found the transition pretty intimidating. There's WAY more ways to make mistakes and I've made some big ones.

I found the transition pretty intimidating. There's WAY more ways to make mistakes and I've made some big ones. I made the jump to digital mixers several years ago.......once I got used to working with layers things got easier and using a iPad to walk the room is rather neat..... I currently use an A&H QU-16 and QU-24. Both are adequate for my needs.
One thing though: On the analog boards that I used, if I ticked "the red" on a channel I had time to clamp down the signal....digi boards are not so forgiving.....

That's a heck of a board. Digital is not that tough of a transition once you know what you're looking for in terms of menus, etc. And yes, being able to walk the room and adjust remotely is huge.
