I find his approach to soloing interesting. He's rather technical in the way he puts lines together and is very arpeggio related. He has just released a course based on his short Instagram Quick Lessons. Those are about a minute long each. His new course goes into detail about his thought process and he shows you how to play them. He also supplies notation for the Guitar Pro software. There's about 5 hours of lessons at this point and when he adds more there is no additional cost. He has it on sale right now for $149. It's worth that to me so I picked it up.
I purchased it today mostly to learn his thought process. Learning some of his riffs is just a bonus for me. His type of playing is not something I would always use but I think I can find a way to inject his approach into my style and make my playing more interesting.

I've had his book for several years (the updates are free) and it's one of the best approaches to music theory I've read. The exercises are fantastic too.

So how are you going with this course ? Learning anything new or new ways to apply old things ?

I'm learning ways to apply some of his concepts to my technique. That's what it was all about for me anyway. There are a couple technical things he does that I may see if I can develop but it's not my reason for getting the course.
