Telecaster owners: anyone tried noiseless pickups? I’ve had my Tele shielded but it’s still noisy as hell. I played a Strat recently with Lace sensors and it sounded great. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the Fender vintage noiseless. Im looking at Barden pickups too.A couple questions:
Do most of them eliminate 60-cycle hum plus noise from computer monitors and whatever causes you to have to turn your body to eliminate the buzz? Also noise from light dimmers?
Do many of them use the same technology/method for creating these pickups? How do they work? Is the Lace Sensor a proprietary technology different from the others?

They do quiet things down, but they cannot eliminate all forms of unwanted noise. The design of humbuckers and noiseless pickups is intended to reduce hum resident in the AC power (ripple induced in the signal). They cannot eliminate electromagnetic interference from ceiling fans, computer monitors, dimmers, etc., because those devices generate a magnetic field and the pickups use magnetism to generate the signal voltage.
Lace Sensors are a modern version of a single coil pickup, with metal shielding to help reject noise.

Tele Vintage Noiseless in one of my favorites. Bridge pu output was ia little weak and made room for another brand. Big fat smack clean sound from the neck, no hum. OV 52 and an Am.Std.Strat neck pu in the other Teles. Both sounding good too but the VN is special.

I have a set of Dimarzio area-T in my Warmoth tele.
The neck runs dead silent. The bridge, not so much.
I really do like the Fender VN in my Stratocaster.

I've only tried Wilde (Bill Lawrence) Noisefree Tele pickups. I'll drop a shameless link here to give you an idea of what I got out of them. I think any deficiencies in tone are likely my mixing abilities and not the Wilde pickups potential. I think they eliminated almost everything I was being haunted with in my home studio in terms of noise.
While I think they're dandy I replaced them with a set of Rumpelstiltskin's and have no regrets.

Is the noise happening in the same place or everywhere?
LED lights, dimmers, etc are a big noise makers.
Check also if there's continuity of the ground within the shielding.

Shielding a guitar has never resolved any of the specific noise issues I've had problems with in the home studio. Since I really haven't gigged much in quite a few years I don't know how much shielding any of my guitars would benefit on stage.
With non noiseless Tele pickups my only solutions are selecting the middle position (If the set has RWRP) and spinning my butt on a swivel chair to find that quiet sweet spot.

The swivel chair is paramount to the home recording effort.
Not that I’ve done any in years.

We need a Cone of Silence for guitar players. Sort of like the thing they used on Get Smart to conduct their private conversations and and prevent KAOS from listening in.
