A new one from my home studio. I've tortured this mix for the past month and am sticking with this one.

Thanks guys. I departed from the usual Fenders and used my Gold Top with Mini humbuckers.

No Floyd in the house. Maybe it's time.

The wreck less abandon of a Floyd.
But seriously…
Very nice indeed. And I like your choice of solo guitar. The path less taken. It does add very nice texture.

Thanks gents. Yeah leftee, I was really going for a "Brothers in Arms" approach on the guitar bits, almost pulled out the volume pedal. I figured the intro was bombastic enough the song didn't need an epic solo on the outro. Plus the I-V-VIm vamp left me at a loss for ideas, lol.

So my co-producer (my wife, hah) suggested that the lofty orchestral intro may not make the listener survive the thirty-some seconds it takes to get into the first verse. My counter-argument is the voice/strummer may make people believe this is a singer/songwriter folk song moving on with no further arrangement. But then I realized it probably makes no difference either way for the 4 people who'll listen through all the way, lol. So I came up with this alternate version that jumps right in. For grins I uploaded the 24 bit version which Soundclick seems to play.

Very nice Larry. 😀
This slipped past me for two months.
I dread the thought of missing out on your creations.
Shadows and Dreams is always part of my regular listening menu.
