Serial number N1043821. I don't know how to post pics on this thread but it also has some different pickups than normal, they say lace sensor. If someone can tell me how to post pics so if you will tell me how I will. Also, it has some tightening things were the strings goes through that I have to tighten before tuning, they have the Fender "F" on the back of them. A lady from church gave this to me saying she bought it in the early 80's supposedly. I've never had a "nice" guitar so this is new to me. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I’ll start with the easy one. You have Fender locking tuners on the guitar. I have those on a couple of guitars, and I like them.

It sounds like a 1991 Strat Plus. It's a very nice guitar.
It has locking tuners and Lace Sensor pickups, and it should have a roller nut - the piece the strings sit on below the headstock should have little rollers in them that the strings ride on.

The serial number starts with 'N' for Nineties, and the one means 1991.

Does it have a traditional 5 way blade switch or 3 buttons?

It has a volume,2 tone knob and 5 way switch. Also, I don't see rollers but where the strings go through up on the neck it has 2 screws holding the nut(if that's the right part/vernacular). Also, she gave me a fender princeton chorus amp that has blown speakers. The music store wants $246 to completely clean restore. Is that an amp worth saving or should I let it go and put that money down on a new one?

In my opinion on the Princeton Chorus, the fix-it price is getting close to what the amp is worth, so it's really a judgement call on whether to restore it or not. Maybe take a listen to some youtube demos to see if the amp has the sound you want before you make a decision.

I wouldn’t advise putting that kind of money in that amp. And I find it a bit sad that a shop even quoted the job.

Yeah, on the second thought, I agree with Leftee 100%. Especially since you have no attachment to the amp.

Solid state (and most production amps) have gone down RADICALLY in price in the last two decades.
The Princeton Chorus was worth that used at the height of its value at best.
Now, well...no.

If someone can tell me how to post pics Here's how. 1. Hang your pic at an image hosting site. Photobucket sucks because it puts a watermark on it. Imgur works. I prefer IMGBB because there's no registration or account required: www.imgbb.com/upload2. In IMGBB, click on 'browse from your computer' link in the center of the screen. 3. Navigate to the image on your local machine and double click it. 4. Click the green 'Upload' button. 5. "Upload complete" will be displayed. Double click the little image. It opens to full size. 6. Right click *on the image*. Left click on 'Copy Image Location'. Create a New Message here in MT2; you can now paste the image's URL into an MT2 message using the Insert Image button. Click that button, and then right-click in the pop-up box to paste the image URL there. This one:

That's wild, this guy still has pics of my old 83 hardtail I bought from him YEARS ago on his site. I sold it a few years ago back on the FDP. That was a cool guitar.
