Cars? Boats? Accordion collecting? Woodworking? Whatever it is, share your non-guitar hobbies.
It's known to most that my other passion is motorcycles. For now, I have two; a 2014 Honda Valkyrie and a 2006 Honda VTX1800. Both are beasts.
Riding is my escape from reality and my decompression chamber.

I used to love fishing, but not in a traditional hobbiest way. When my family had our cottage in northern Ontario my wife and I made it a quest to fish for trout with the crappiest equipment, and we were very successful. Half a century of knowing where and when to fish and what to use. I miss the hell out of it and haven't fished since August 2013. 😕

Motorcycles, guns, and RC planes/helis. I shoot on a Bullseye league, and belong to a model airplane club. Used to shoot Skeet two or three times a week, but working nights kinda put the end to that.
I also reload my own ammo, and do the occasional stained glass.
Somewhere down the list are bicycles, archery, making stuff with a scroll saw, and fishing.. but I really haven't done those for a while.
Hobbies seem to go either one of two ways for me... I realize that I suck at it and give up, or I get real good real quick and then it's no longer a challenge.
RC airplanes are probably my current favorite, and what I spend most of my time with.
There's a balance between getting good enough to have fun, and being just overconfident enough to stuff a plane into the weeds.
Plus it helps that we have a really good bunch of guys in our club, so there's a camaraderie there where we have meetings and little picnics, and help each other out with technical aspects of the hobby.
I also like to solder.

Hmmm ... Lots! My Father set an example I have found myself following. He created things. Many times because he could not afford to buy it. It could involve the refurbishing of some derelict item, modifying an existing thing of flat out engineering and building from scratch. My instinct is in most instances exactly that as well. I don't think of things I need or want and promptly go out and purchase it. In fact the items I find for sale are usually not exactly what I want or set up exactly how I want mine to be. The solution; build what I want the way I want it. I am very utilitarian in nature, so trying to make things of perfect or great aesthetic beauty is seldom my goal. If that were my goal I could not do as much as I do. To me it is about *the vision* ... *the doing* and *the end functionality*. Much of the stuff in our house are things I created. I don't like stuff sitting on the floor, so much of it is suspended on the walls. I had the six and a half year long remodel of our house (from Jan 2010 thru spring of 2016) creating the music room, the covered patio and an almost 300 sq. ft. clean storage room in some vacant attic space. Oh, and the conversion from asphalt shingles to concrete tile roof. Currently I am working through our kitchen refurbish project. Primarily relating to new finish and new doors and drawer fronts throughout. Adding to the woodworking theme, I build boxes. It's like a sickness. If I have something I will probably eventually build a wooden box for it. Most are aware of my restoring classic cars for the past 25 years. At this point we have just the 67 Camaro and the 54 F100 truck, but at 64 years of age, that's enough. I do leather work making mostly things I want or need for my own use. There are a few of my creations floating around out there though. You'll never confuse me with Hushnel in this field of work. Hushnel is a true artist. With my focus being utilitarian, my work has aptly been described as "Spartan" and I think that is a perfectly proper reference. Back in the 80s I wanted to learn about photography ... emphasis on "learn". I bought a Nikon FM. This quite nice, but fully manual camera and about 4 fairly high end lenses provided me with what I needed to learn and the requirement to learn. Every aspect of every shot was on me. I bit later I purchased a motorcycle. It was 1982 Suzuki GS850L. Even then I had to build my own seat to allow me better traveling convenience. I toured the Country on that bike with my Nikon FM in hand. It was a glorious three years. By 1986 I got married and our first child was on the way so my Suzuki friend and I parted ways. Most here are probably also aware of my 20 quest to learn to shoot (primarily) handguns at a high skill level. The past two years have shot that in the butt a bit (pun intended). Anyway, those would be some of my hobbys and interests ... without getting into some really mundane stuff.

I have a few at the moment.
I collect hockey jerseys, but not as much as I used to.
I collect hockey (and a few other types of) cards.
I’m building two 1:8 scale models, one is the Back To The Future DeLorean and the other is the Ghostbusters car. They’re huge and I have no idea what I plan to do with the finished products.

Guitar and home recording/piano/cello/music is probably my biggest interest but there's a ton of other things to do to keep busy.
Got a little into watercolor painting over the past year, not any good but it's fun.
Have two motorcycles and enjoy riding very much.
Fishing; bass in the summer and take trout camping trips in spring/fall. Do a little dove hunting yearly but haven't got into bigger game.
Photography, see the thread. I enjoy long exposure water-feature photography mainly as an activity to enjoy while hiking with the dogs (two other big interests, hiking and dogs). Winter here is hiking season and there are about 15 nice hikes within a 30 minute drive.
Boating. Have a ski boat and grew up waterskiing/wakeboarding. Would like to get into sailing later in life and travel through the Caribbean.
Paddleboard/kayaking. During the summer months I probably go paddleboarding 3 times a week. Great exercise and very relaxing.
Mountain biking during spring/fall.
Cars. I daily drove BMW E30s from ages 18-34 and my current E30 is a resto-mod garage queen that got too nice to be a daily driver. Super fun car.
Trucks. Current daily is a Tacoma TRD OR that's fun and capable off road.
Audiophile, kind of fits with music but slightly different.
Gaming. don't spend too much time on this but enjoy racing and flight sims, the resolution of modern games is pretty amazing.
Lastly travel and being a foodie. Has taken a hit over the past 1.5 years but plenty of places I still want to go. Wife and I eat out a lot and once a weekor so go bar hopping around town. We usually like to hit happy hour at a gastropub type place then walk to 2-3 other places getting drinks and appetizers at each. Favorite is seafood.

Used to love fly fishing ever since I was about 10 but when gigs got to plentiful I quit, still really miss being in a stream all alone in the middle of nowhere. Used to collect old jazz lps and guitars but I have enough for several lifetimes.

"i used to bicycle a lot but having had a couple of near misses and a friend KILLED while riding, i've not ridden for the past 3/4 years. i'm itching to go but i keep having flashbacks of the TEXAS TRUCK license plate i saw as i was laying in a ditch."
That is why I stepped away from bicycles and motorcycles.

I’ve always been into cars (mainly Corvettes) and motorcycles (mainly Harley-Davidson) and dealing in parts for those vehicles. The latest bike I’ve added to the garage is this 1971 Sportster that was a dirty/rusty old cob when I purchased it last year that hadn’t been on the road for around 35 years.

I try to hike 3-4 times a week. Keeps me in shape, and my Aussie requires it or else he's unbearable to be around. We have outstanding trails up here in the Rocky Mountains. And I ski in the winter.
I read quite a bit, try to do an hour/day.
I started out as a volunteer docent at our little local history museum. Now I'm the VP of the board of directors, and I still work the desk one day a week. I meet folks from all over the country, which is interesting.
And I cook. I try to be creative on the grill or in the kitchen. On my best day I'm half the cook that Mrs. R is. We eat good.
I used to be a car guy, always had a sports car of some kind. No longer, though, even though I have an empty third bay in the garage. I'm content to putt around town in my Ridgeline.
And I golf a couple times a week. Playing today, in fact. We have a really nice public course up here. Took 2nd in this season's Wednesday men's league.

I am a dyed-in-the-wool music nerd. It seems like everything I like to do involves it. I geek out on music theory and harmony, recording technology and all the many facets involved with that, music production, engineering, acoustics, music arranging and composing (although I haven't done much of this lately), guitar playing, sound design, vocal arranging and singing, bass playing, keyboard playing, music appreciation and listening, and about any other thing associated with it. I have many guitars but don't consider myself a collector. I have them for their different sounds. If I were any kind of collector it would probably be microphones. I have many and always want more. I geek out watching YouTube videos about the previously stated musical topics.
I tinker in my shed when I have the need for something or something needs repairing but that's more from a need standpoint than a want.
I used to build and repair computers as a kind of hobby years ago but since the operating systems and hardware have gotten much more stable and powerful I don't have to do that anymore. I started off doing that because I couldn't afford to buy a powerful computer so I would build them. That resulted in my friends bringing me theirs when something was wrong with them. I enjoyed that but don't really miss it. It could be very frustrating.
I have recently started exercising regularly. Still don't like it but I'm trying to get to where I do. I have gotten too overweight and have to do something about it. I haven't yet gotten to the point where it doesn't hurt to do it but it's getting less painful the more I do it. I'm hoping I can get past the sore muscles stage soon before I burn out on it. I would really like to enjoy it because it's very good for me. Especially at my age. Right now I'm powering through it.

My main hobby is weightlifting. I was a wannabe powerlifter, and I was going to start doing sanctioned meets when I turned 45, but I blew my shoulder out right before then. I still lift, but not competitively.
I also collect coins, most weird silver coins like half dimes, 3 cent pieces, and 20 cent pieces, but prices have exploded lately, so I mostly look but don't touch these days.
My son likes to fix up old lawnmowers that people throw out to sell them for profit, and I help him out with that a lot. So I suppose you could call fixing up small engines and lawn equipment a hobby for me now.

I'd love to do more shooting but the ammo thing has put me in a holding pattern.
I really want to get back into homebrewing which I did passionately for many years. I'm thinking about doing a mead (actually melomel) to start off. I did several of these back in the day. One was a honey/wild blueberry/raspberry melomel that must have not fully fermented and turned into a spectacular effervescent champagne-like elixir.

At first I read this as you having given up street bikes and also having given up too many women. I gave up teenage girls long ago,(my youngest daughter is 31) (actually I do have several teenage grand daughters Thankfully they do not live with me.) women, not so much. Although I probably should. Wow it just dawned on me my youngest is 31, damn I'm old. Time to start spending money on my hobbies. Where is that little old house in Texas?

I wonder if you had a stuck fermentation or if it needed degassed. I also wonder how the blueberries and raspberries tasted together. I think I just bottled it to soon. My intention was for it to be still but I used an American ale yeast and think it just hit a secondary fermentation in the bottle. Fortunately it wasn't an exploding bottle scenario, just a nice bubbly drink. As far as the taste I'd call it semi-sweet and floral. I could see dry wine drinkers being turned off because it was somewhere in the Lambrusco range.
