A very sad day.
I just saw the Foo in August. I will never see them again with him in the band. It wasn't the best show I have ever seen, but I am glad I got to see him at least once.
RIP.

He carried a beat like a freight train. Helluva drummer.
RIP Taylor.

Hearing reports he complained of chest pain to the staff at the hotel before passing. Also reports that it “may be drug related”, but I don’t know if that’s based on evidence or just his history.

I honestly couldn't name you one Foo Fighters song, although I know I've heard some and didn't hate them. I always found it a curiosity that Grohl abandoned the drum stool to be a front man. When I caught a show on TV of Them Crooked Vultures I thought, man, what a monster drummer Grohl is.
Sad event, it sounds like this is going to be hard for the members to recover from, both personally and professionally.

That he was a "Rock Star", had previous Heroin problems, and died in the prime of life, doesn't bode well.
Until they officially announce the cause of death, people are going to speculate.
I've only ever seen them once, but they were impressive.
RIP

Multiple news outlets report he had 10 different substances in his system at the time of death, including opioids.

Multiple news outlets report he had 10 different substances on his system at the time of death, including opioids. White powder was apparently found, Inheard heroin and cocaine both were in the room. A sad, and all to common, rock n roll story.

Sad, if true. There's been too many examples that there's no invincibility against that demon.

Well, it doesn't look good..
"The report showed he had at least 10 different psychoactive substances in his body including "THX (Marijuana), tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines, and opioids, among others," the Attorney General’s Office in Colombia said in the document shared on Twitter."

Reading this morning his heart was approximately double the size of a normal human heart. They are not confirming an OD at this time. The reports of 10 substances found that I heard were they they were found in his room, but not necessarily in his body.
That said, an enlarged heart is a known consequence of long term cocaine use, and it appears cocaine was found.

Whether they were in his system or not, I think it’s a safe bet he didn’t choke on a ham sandwich.

Have to assume his room wasn’t stocked full of drugs and he was 100% sober, unfortunately. I was just pointing out the discrepancy because 10 kinds of drugs in your system might imply something that one kind may not, and that was the report I heard. plus, I don’t know about Colombia but in the US, toxicology reports take a lot longer than that.

The article I read said the toxicology report was from a urine sample from him. I suspect a blood report would take longer
