What do I have to expect when I'm being offered a Twin Reverb II? I myself own a Twin Reverb Silverface with two E-120.
And I own a Bassman 135 with a Bassman 50 D140 Speaker Enclosure (two red back D140F speakers).
My intention is to either sell the combo or trade it in against a Twin Reverb. But the Twin should have at least 2 D120F. DOeay a Twin Reverb II come with these JBL type speakers?

I've never had a Twin II but have had a Princeton, a deluxe, and a concert. The guy that designed them for Fender now owns Rivera Amps.
Just like silverface amps, the pull for master channel is goofy. On these amps, if you are using reverb, pull the master, the reverb cuts in half. I'm pretty sure the master channel uses one of the triodes from the reverb driver. Not a big deal.
I really like the tone of these things. A nice Fender clean and a very wonderful dirty cruch.
I don't know about the JBLs but I doubt it.

Mostly play Fender guitars and amps. I'm 71 and have had a guitar since 1964. Got serious in 1975.

I have never seen a Twin II with JBL speakers. There may be a bunch of them that do, but I've never seen anything but Eminence speakers in them. Boy, JBL's in a Twin make for a very heavy amp.
