I recently was tempted by a used guitar & microcube package that was listed locally on ebay.
In the end, the guitar wasn't what I really wanted and the total asking price was just too much, but it did get me thinking...
I've been curiously checking the classifieds for microcubes since!
I actually have all I need for a travelling amp with a Vox Mini 3, and I really only use it for bench testing, but if I found one for the right price, I'd probably snag it. Just because...
Hope you like yours! (when it arrives!)

2004 called to ask where you were back then There are several versions available, with the latest having memory presets and app/interface with iPhone, etc. I think the Microcube is the ultimate practice amp.

Oh, back then I was a tube amp snob.

I have had a Microcube for quite some time and it is a very handy amp for practicing or keeping at hand for some quick noodling or practicing. When I was still in the workforce, I would have Peegoo and another guitarist to my office after hours for some grub, jamming and solving world problems. A couple times we all brought Microcubes and just used them. Also I have employed the Microcube as a PA for a single mic when working on tunes by myself or with another guitarist, it makes a handy vocal reinforcer and we would use it along with another smaller watt amp(s).

I would never publicly acknowledge I was in any way associated with me. Just sayin' Sort of like --I think it was Mark Twain that wrote, I would never want to belong to a club that would have me as a member.

I have the bass version. It's a small, light-weight, convenient, low-volume practice tool and will run off batteries if no outlet is available. I use it in the living room, usually for short practice blocks, when I don't feel like going upstairs to fire up a larger rig. Also take it with me when I'm traveling (there's a headphone jack that mutes the speakers for in the motel). Has a few rudimentary beats built in to keep your timing honest. Traded a guitar I wasn't playing anymore for it.
I play mostly semi-hollow basses but, even so, my right hand technique tends to get progressively more aggressive than I want it to be over the course of a practice session if I play them un-amplified. Playing through my bigger amps, I like to crank the volume and play with a light touch so using this little bugger helps to keep me from developing undesired habits.
I like it for what it is but wouldn't expect it to be practical for much beyond those uses already mentioned.

If you play gigs, a Microcube is a great back-up amp when your main rig goes down. You can run the line out from the MC to a channel on the PA and you're back in business with some really useable sounds. If you use a pedalboard, plug that into the input on the MC.

It's here! First impression is it is solid! I won't be able to play it today but will check back in tomorrow.

I’ve sung it’s praises in the past. My Microcube is always out and ready to play.

Years ago I installed a 1/4" switching jack on the back of one that defeats the internal speaker and sends output to an external speaker cab. I plugged it into my Carvin 4x12 cab and Holy Hand Grenade, Batman! It was LOUD. And it sounded unbelievably good. Important Note About This: If you want to try it yourself, be sure to use an isolated jack because speaker ground is different from chassis ground. If you stick a metal Switchcraft jack in a hole in the metal back panel, magic smokey excape from MOSFETs and ampy no worky ever again.

I have played tube amps since getting rid of my first amp, a Crate, in a crate.
Them about 3yrs ago I bought a Fender Champion 20, a modeling amp and wasn't impressed. So I bought a monoprice tube amp, 15 watter with a 1 watt switch. Still pretty loud for home but not nearly like my other amps.
Enter the Micro Cube. I bought it mainly because I wanted a battery powered amp but became excited even more after reading reviews.
And the reviews are right. This thing is built solidly, comes with everything except the batteries, and even has a nice manual, which I haven't read.
It sounds amazing! The JC 120, Blackface, and Brit Combo are my favorites so far. The effects are crazy nice. It sounds analog. 🤓
Best 170 I've spent in a really really long time.

Oh ya, with the gain, vol, and master you can get pretty much any time at any volume level.

I love the Micro Cube and you will too. Me too! I got one to have something that was more easily portable and to have something I could play when I wanted to be quieter and I love it. Great sounds and really versatile. It can also run on batteries so I can bring it anywhere.

I bought a microcube, probably due to the FDP, about 15 years ago. I still use it at home. Great sounds and loud enough for 1 watt(?), decent effects and great value for money (I think I paid about£80 for mine, new). My only criticism would be the inability to save presets, but can't complain for the price.

I haven't tried it yet but I think there is one memory preset on this one.
