I read it. I think the night vision part will come in handy. Especially around here with all the deer.
But yea, just what we need, more things to distract a person from actually driving.

The dash display is an OLED screen. I’m looking forward to hearing the 36 speaker 3D sound system.

My newest vehickle is 18 years old. None of that GUI stuff for me.
My wife has a new car and beside the standard instrument panel with some graphics stuff, it has a smaller info screen along with a small-tablet-sized screen for maps, radio, etc. The thing is constantly displaying something and is very distracting. Trying to actually use it while driving is akin to texting while driving. I would be surprised if studies don't eventually emerge showing an increase in traffic accidents due to distracted driving caused by today's modern dashboards.

My ‘15 Escalade has a display in front of the driver that shows speedo, tack, engine info, odometer, gear you’re in, etc and next to it a display for GPS. All they have done is combine the two displays into one continuous curved display that, kind of, wraps around the driver. Three of my present cars have GPS/infotainment displays and, believe me, you don’t drive down the road staring at them no more than you’d stare at your analog speedometer while driving.

They THINK the displays will last at least 15 years. (rolleyes).
