A few folks asked me how to install an extension speaker jack in a Roland Micro Cube. A picture is way better than words, so here ya go. This mod disconnects the internal speaker when a plug in inserted into the extension speaker jack. I've plugged this into my 4-Ohm 4x12 cabinet and it rattles the windows (I am hot kidding). And it sounds bloody fantastic too. The Microcube needs a 4-Ohm speaker load, so unless you're plugging into a 4-Ohm load, do not play the amp turned up all the way or you might cook the power stage in the amp. Remember that doing this sort of mod will void any warranty you have on the amp. Let me know if you have any questions on this.

I installed the same switching output jack into a Katana mini. Hooked into a Fender closed back 2x12, it is amazingly loud and sounds grueat! Loud enough for practice easily.
Btw, very nice pics/instructions Mr. Goo.
