I have been wanting a Looper Pedal but do not want to spend an outrageous amount (not much more than $175) that works decent, reliable, easy to use. Any suggestions???

I'm sure many will steer you toward the Ditto. I have only ever used my Digitech JamMan (the older one, now replaced by the Stereo), which I love. Lots of options out there. I like being able to store loops and have about sixty stored in mine. I don't see why anyone would want one that doesn't have storing capability but to each his/her own. The JamMan solo XT is within your price range and digitech loopers have a good track record. The Boss RC-3 is also well liked but is a bit more expensive. Loopers are a great practice tool and obviously can be used for performance as well. You'll have fun with whatever you get.

You could look at the versions in the old Boss RC-20 line. Durable, lots of features, easy to use, can run on batteries.

The JOYO pedals seem nice and are inexpensive. I've never bought one, though. It looks like they have a $77 Looper/Delay. Joyo looper amazon link

I like the idea of saving loops. I knew a little about the Boss RC-3. It is a bit expensive Is this the the one you have Peegoo?

I have a Jam Man that's one or two generations older than that latest version. I also have the external pedal that allows additional functionality/control.

The looper on the line 6 m9 is very good. You get up to 60 seconds with it plus a boat load of effects.

I have the Jamman XT and it has 100 loop memory, a memory card slot, and is stereo and about $120.
However, like Peegoo says, the extra footswitch is advised.
Most loopers seem to require a quick TWO step to stop the loop, whereas the extra footswitch changes that to ONE step.
It's a LOT easier with the footswitch but that's another $30 or so.
I bought both off ebay for $120.
If you are going to get serious, which I suspect I will, the bigger boards have more tracks, effects and vocal support.
But for 90% of looping for practice and raw songwriting, a small stereo looper is fine.
The big boys are the Boss rc-300 and rc-505.
They are a bit flawed and I'm hoping for the next generation pretty soon.
So for now, I'm using the XT. The quality is pretty good.
It's not battery powered though !
Loopers suck power bigtime.
The XTs can also be hooked/synced together for extra tracks if needed, using a simple MP3 type 1/8 stereo wire.
I can hardly wait to drive myself crazy with that !
Short drive too.

Thanks gbfun, very cool features. Can't afford to spend big bucks so when I do decide to spring for one the XT will be on my short list.

I've got two Jamman Express XT looper pedals. I replaced my Dittos with them and sold the Dittos. I have a battery powered Ditto that I still use. The Jammans synced with my SDRUM and they had the three LED lights which made more sense to me.
