No, you can't paint like Picasso. Funny how a group of musicians have the same take on art as the general population.
On the other hand, just because a visual artist's portfolio contains some masterpieces, that doesn't mean that everything he does rises to the level of greatness. Nobody bats 1000. Just as there are "filler" tracks on many great band's albums, every visual artist's portfolio includes some clunkers.
everyone has their own opinion but that sure isn't a filler painting in my mind.

That's reasonable Taildragger. My thinking is musicians as creative people ought to be able to see some application of what they do in other art forms. If Picasso’s art were a musical style, it would be Baroque jazz meets punk rock meets death metal.

Not talking about Picasso here, but I still maintain there's a lot of "Emperor's New Clothes" syndrome in the art world.

Well Picasso had styles enough for a half dozen careers. As someone said, if you can't find some that you like you are hard to please.
