Years ago, I subscribed to the Dollar Shave Club because I was tired of paying outrageous prices for Schick and Gillette replacement blades. With the subscription, I ended up with blades every few months until I accumulated about 30 of them, so I cancelled. Since I change blades maybe once a month, if that, I still have 20 left.
Last week, one side of the pivot head broke off. It still works but it's pretty wonky. Trying to order another razor, I quickly learned they've been discontinued, so I'll have 20 useless blades if the razor completely fails, which is likely.
I looked into Jeremy's razor but they promote the Amazon razor for their blades. I'm reluctant to buy something else that might be discontinued in a short time.
What do y'all use?
FWIW, I won't do Harry's, and I'll leave it at that.

The original Mach3 blades (so, not "Turbo" or anything else). At this point they've been superceded by others and are reasonably priced at Wallyworld or Target.
The only thing that keeps me going back is a lack of a giant "lubricating strip" at the top. The newer designs are weird, and I have trouble getting all of my upper lip without feeling like I'm shoving the thing up my nose. Side burn area is also a problem. The Mach3 was before that stuff was trendy.
I hope to find something better the next time I need to stock up.

I use a Mach 3 and/or a nice single edge safety razor.

LeftyMeister, which blades do you use? I happen to have a number of brand new unused Dollar Shave Club handles for blades that I don’t use anymore, plus extra that were sent to me in error of the ones I do use.
If I have what you need, it’ll be my pleasure to send it your way.

I use some cheap orange plastic razor from Walmart. I have a full beard and trim the edges rarely so not a big deal. The Wahl trimmer is though.

I’ve had a beard since leaving the US Army in 1968 and have never been a purist about what I use to keep it in check. I occasionally use some electric beard trimmer that my mother gave me for a Christmas gift 30+ years ago (I took it apart and replaced the rechargeable batteries twice now) and I dry shave with Gillette Sensor II disposables. I don’t waste a lot of money with a bunch of “pretty boy crap”.

I too was accumulating Dollar Shave Club razor heads at an amazing rate. I kept the subscription for quite awhile and decided I had a lifetime's worth of razors. I ordered two new handles and, after I received those, cancelled the subscription. I think I may literally be set for life on razors.
I haven't done the math, but I used one cartridge a month. There are like 4 or 5 per little package. I'd have to count, but I know there are at least 40 packages. I think quite a bit more than that actually.
(40 * 4) / 12 = at least 13 years worth....that takes me up to 73 years of age as a conservative guess.
If I think of it, I may actually do a count and see what it really is.

I’ve always managed my blade subscription well, but it used to be if you switched blades, they sent you a free handle. I have switched a few times, and some of them use the same handle and they still send you a free one. That’s how I wound up with extra (I have one less, LeftyMeister’s is on its way).
I also use their deodorant, and their Shave Butter, and their hair goo. So convenient to just get it in the mail and to not have to remember. But, recently I was adjusting my shipping dates and they have changed the way you do that. This resulted in my accidentally placing three identical orders and receiving a ton of stuff I wasn’t ready for/didn’t need.
I reached out to see if I could return the extra and they said no, but they would credit me back for two of the orders and let me keep the stuff! So now I have a drawer full of extra product and won’t need much for a while.

Did the math....I have 15 years worth of cartridges. I'll be 75 years old the next time I buy a razor cartridge.

I don't shave every day. I'm retired. I don't care what people think. When I get around to the task, I wet down my face and use the cheapest disposable razor they sell at the market. Then I rinse it well, dry it, and rest it on a powerful magnet before the next use of it. I can generally get a week or two out of one razor.

I use Mach 3 disposable. When I had a beard I was like LeftyMeister as razors lasted a long time. Only have a Mustache and Goatee and can’t stand the look of gray/white whiskers on my face so use more razors nowdays

I use a basic boring safety razor (not one of the branded ones that takes proprietary blades). $17. www.amazon.com/Razors-Natural-Bamboo-Handle-Standard/dp/B07TB9SL91/Find what blades you like, get a big pack, ignore having to spend money ever again. I'm using some Russian platinum blades that I have 200 of in case the supply gets cut off, but I only use two or so a week. Basically it's free compared to ANY of the name brands.

I initially misread the thread title as, "The razor condom...what are you using?" and thought, "OUCH!"
That said, I haven't shaved in years. And I'm not using that as a figure of speech.

I use Harry’s . I used them before I grew a beard and they worked great. Now I only shave my neck and they last a really long time . You can buy their blades at Wallyworld and Target , which is convenient .

I use Harry’s as well. Since I only shave my neck and cheeks every other day, I get a long service out of blades

I want to like Harry's, but I feel like the blades clog too much.
I have an amish beard this time of year so a generic double blade razor works for me right now.
