Over the last couple weeks I have gotten multiple offers stating I have been approved to "apply" for so-in-so's credit card. Don't I feel special?! Wouldn't they be surprised when I "apply" and don't have a job anymore? I'm almost certain my "approved" application will be denied. I have excellent credit and 2 credit cards. One of which never gets used. I used the one with the highest cash-back percentage to pay all my bills as well as gas and groceries every month then pay it off, in full, at the end of every month so no interest charges ever accrue. If I can't afford to pay cash for something it doesn't get bought. The credit cards are strictly for convenience, online shopping, an emergency, or if I need to rent a car or something when travelling.

I have 2 lines of credit but use only 1 of the cards for as much as possible, mainly for the points. I have a high credit limit and have it set up for monthly balance payment, but always pay it off early when the balance goes over $1000. Every now and then they solicit me for updated annual income. I wonder how they would respond if I put $0. 😂
