I like the Baja a lot but I've got the Vintera II Telecaster Nocaster. Been doing some research and that's what I've been reading. They never actually say Nocaster, but 50's modified Tele.
Anyone know for sure?
I'm confused, is the Vintera II Modified 50s Telecaster the same as the Vintera II Nocaster Telecaster?

Doesn't look like it comparing the two on Fender's site - wiring, pickups, colors. S1 switch and "Twisted tele" PU on the modified, the Nocaster has generic '50s' etc
Modified has the 9.5" radius, the nocaster the vintage 7.25"

I mean, the baja info never says they are close to the Nocaster Vintera II which I have. On an impulse I did buy a Baja. I didn't know much about them, and this one is in Surf Green. From what I've found out, (not much), I don't think that color was offered in the U.S. I believe it was for the European market. Now, I'm hoping it's not as heavy as a boat anchor. Should be here Thursday, the 8th. If it's too heavy or sounds like my Nocaster it will have to go.

Have already sent this telecaster back. It was not a baja. It may have been a special edition player but not a baja for sure. Neck plate, for one, did not say, Fender Custom Shop Designed.
