I was reading a book by Quentin Tarantino about movies that influenced him and he does a chapter on "The Getaway"(1972) and another on "Bullitt" (1968), so we're having a little film festival. Great period piece and road trip of mayhem through Texas, ending in the big shoot out in El Paso. Bullitt is tonight, though I should have started with it.
Supporting actors include Al Lettieri, whose most famous role was as Virgil Solozzo in The Godfather. Also, Sally Struthers as a wacky strumpet, over the top and perfect performance.
2 thumbs up!

I like Steve McQueen, but I adore Jacqueline Bisset.
Which makes "Bullitt" my favorite McQueen movie.
