CCleaner now freezes up on me, even after uninstalling and then reinstalling. I mainly want to delete all trackers from my computer upon command. Something free would be nice, since if it doesn't work out I can uninstall that.

I use Ccleaner and have no problems. Just the free version.

I've been using CCleaner for years, even when it was called Crap Cleaner. But only recently has it been freezing up on me, mainly after opening and receiving my email -- lots of trackers (according to CCleaner). I guess something with a cookie cleaner is what I'm looking for. I found the temp internet files folder, but even though I'm the sole user, I'm denied permission, "access denied."
I checked out BleachBit, something I've seen mentioned over the years, but some reviewer says it will clean out stuff you don't want to clean. I may install that one anyway and see what it's all about.
CCleaner got bought out by Avast a couple of years ago and has had problems since. Paying for the Pro version won't fix anything. Some guys complain that it creates more problems than it fixes. This is true for me nowadays.
I'd pay for something good, but it has to be good and easy to use. And something that doesn't demand an annual purchase, like CCleaner does. I just need simple cookie cleanup. I don't want something that's insists on freeing up a load of disc space. I already have a good anti-virus, etc., program.

Follow up: I chose and installed this: privazer.com/en/index.phpIt seems pretty good, slower in a way, but seemingly more thorough than CCleaner.
