I will be getting some tickets to see the show on Friday night.
I've not seen U2 live so this will be a new one for me in that regard.
Tickets offered to the department by the Sphere management. Good enough.
Once it got to our level it was only being made available to officers who had perfect attendance over the past 6 months. That narrowed it down to 11 officers and 7 pairs of tickets available. I easily qualified having never been late or absent in my entire six years of working there.
I'll report back.

My BIL saw there there. He said it was mind-boggling.
I saw them once. IIRC it was St. Patrick’s day, 1985, in Denver. Those were the days.

I’d be glad to have Saturday off, but first week with a new trainee. No day off for me. 😜

Some reviews say that the upper levels have steep stairs and some audience members got vertigo climbing up to their seats. Still it must be an amazing experience. Enjoy the show!

It's a really great show. The visuals are unlike anything else, and U2 is as great as they've always been, though I'm probably biased as they've been my favorite band since the release of The Joshua Tree. Regardless, it's quite an experience.

I have now seen U2 live.
Here is my take on the show without a whole lot of words.
Bono can certainly still sing.
Edge is one of the most “economical” guitar players I have ever seen. That is not to imply he sounds anything less that fantastic
I’m not familiar enough to know much about the bass player? But all good.
They have a “sit in” drummer. Normal drummer (Larry Mullen) out and in recovery from something. Sit in drum did a very fine job by my estimation.
The Sphere is indeed a very unique venue.
The visual presentations inside are crystal clear and sharp, very impressive. At times, when they projected the stage show up to the visual presentation it really did seem I was watching them in life on the stage.
That’s it for now.
Glad I went. 👍🏻

The Edge spawned a whole genre’ of playing and tones that lives on today.
