not a genius. Just someone who had an idea that connected with a lot of people and gained some success from it. Yeah, I liked some of his stuff, it is a lot of fun. HTH

I liked a lot of Steinman's stuff. Very theatrical. Kind of like it should have been the soundtrack for the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Steinman, Rundgren and Meatloaf were a potent combination. Never was really a Meatloaf fan but he could really sing and I liked a lot of the material. I always thought Total Eclipse Of The Heart by Bonnie Tyler was epic.

That was horrid. lol! The only thing I know about Steinman is Bat Out of Hell, which I thought was a good album for the most part
