I still remember as a teen, being frantic about odors wafting off my body. Of course this surge of puberty linked perfectly with an increase in underarm sweating to move those odors more effectively. I was constantly slathering my "odor pits" with various nostrums, to stop both the odor and the moisture from uncooperative sweat glands.
What an unholy alliance that lumps uber self conscious adolescence with cringe-worthy odors.
(And then add the moon crater pimples that erupt just before leaving for school)
