I’m intrigued with the unit, but seems a bit pricey, especially if you opt for the expression pedal and the FR-10 (or 12). All the above and you’re into it for around $2500.
Anyone have any experience with it?

Basically it's at the price point of the big dollar competitors from Boss, Line 6, some of the Fractal stuff, etc.
If I was going to blow bucks on a high-end standalone at this point, I"d just get a Boss GT-1000 honestly - I can sound like me with one just fine.

It’s got pretty graphics. But other than that, Fender is rather late to the game for high end modelers /multi-FX. My Boss GX-100 suits me just fine.

I’ve dabbled in modelers before and I always end up going back to pedals. I love the idea, but just too many knobs, too many parameters, deep dives, etc… The Fender looks intriguing for a guy like me because it’s very visual. I like that. But, again, I’m not ready to drop that kind of money for something, that history says, I’ll end up getting frustrated with and wanting to get rid of in favor of my old standby pedals.

I've got one and the FR12. I love the TMP for its ease of use and out of the box tones. It's so easy to use, sounds great to me, and includes pretty good preset patches. I've got a Boss GX-100 that seemed more difficult to use and never really made me excited to play since I couldn't get the sound I wanted from it. I've got a tube DRRI that definitely sounds a little better, but the TMP and the FR-12 is great and the weight difference is significant. I usually play the TMP with headphones and haven't really felt the need to deep dive to get great sounds from it, though I know there's so many options I don't use. The TMP is night and day from my first multi-effects unit (DOD VGS 50) that I gigged with nearly 20 years ago. It makes me feel like a geezer to marvel at the newfangled technology.
