About 90 percent of the stuff that appears in my email box each morning is junk, as in ... topics I'm not interested in, not just ads. When I get tired of clicking "Junk" and "Delete", I pick out one email and scroll down to the bottom looking for the "unsubscribe" button. It's usually there, although sometimes hidden. Now, sometimes when I click on that button, I get a simple message confirming my wish and "sorry to see you go," or something. Other times, though, I'm taken to a page where I have to wade through a questionnaire before my "unsubscribe" choice is accepted. And even then, I might be redirected: "are you sure? How about if we just send you emails in these categories?" Then I'm supposed to check boxes for which of their crap I'll accept. I'm pretty sure that some of these emails are just temporarily halted, as one will pop up weeks later and I'm thinking ... didn't I unsubscribe to this already?
Adblocker: Tired of pop up ads littering my screen, I invested in "Adblocker". Now I get more ads than ever, although I am now afforded the opportunity to right click and report "why" I don't want this or that ad. Is there something else I have to do? I've tried fiddling with Chrome settings, but I get lost in the weeds pretty early in the process. Going to YT doesn't help me as the moderator, usually speaking pidgin English, shows me screens and buttons that have nothing to do with what I'm seeing on my computer.
Note: I now get pop ups on Moe's. That never happened before I installed Adblocker.

Doesn't you email provider offer an option to Blacklist the senders? it's a one-on-one process, but after a bit they all get the message.

Actually, I believe you can log in but after a bit the owners of the site this forum is on will give you a notification asking you to allow the ads as that is how they make the money and allow forums to be free.

I'm cool with that. My main complaint is with my online newspapers exploding with pop ups.
