I noticed that Guild used (uses?) the letter F for both Orchestra and Jumbo models, and am curious whether there is a reason for this. In my limited experience, I thought each type of guitar typically had its own letter designation.

Thanks, Wish. This appears to work for newer models. I was confused by some of the old Westerly built models and probably should have linked the page below in the OP. There are Grand Auditoriums, Jumbos, and Concerts with F model numbers. Only the Grand Auditoriums are consistently F. Some Jumbos have J, and some Concerts have M or A. If there is logic in this, I don't see it. westerlyguildguitars.com/guitars.html

I have a Guild D25-12 guitar. They have it listed under Jumbo 12 Strings on your link.
My guitar is not a jumbo...it is a dreadnought. It is a 12 string though.....so maybe the category names are not necessarily accurate for all of the guitars?
It would make more sense if the category was 12 Strings (not Jumbo) for this example.
I don't know.
