I forgot how much I like these strings. I put a set on my Ibanez TMB30 yesterday. I don't know what OEM strings Ibanez uses but the comfort and tone has never been so good. These were my go to strings when I had a Starfire and an EB-0, I don't know why I waited so long to put these on the Ibanez.

I recently bought a bass with some mystery flats that might be made by GHS , they have a dark blue winding at both ends . They feel similar to LaBellas .

I have these on a fretless, but they are about 2 years old. Ergo, due for a change.
I liked them.
Now I just need to try SIT silencers and Rotosound Pressurewound strings.

Just put them on my new Gretsch G5440LS Hollowbody Electric Archtop Bass and absolutely love them. I had TI Jazz Flats on there and was skeptical about changing to a not flatwound because of string noise and being way too bright. These are just right! I will keep TI Jazz Flats on my Fender American Pro Jazz but probably going to try them on my Fender P Bass soon. Very happy. I was able to lower action and these being Stainless vs TI's Nickel I am getting more output. These have great lows, nice mids, smooth highs.

LTB, the GHS PW are Nickel/Iron. Thank you, I remember reading that now that you mentioned it. Anyway, Iron is the contributing factor to being louder than TI Jazz Flats and Nickel making them better on Frets

Got GHS Strings in today for my Fender P Bass. Couldn't stand waiting so figured how to get it done without lifting or bending. Leaned bass headstock toward me while sitting in computer rolling chair, used knee as a fulcrum to get in lap, turned put it on twin bed in that room and restrung, tuned and intonated oh and after removing TI Jazz Flats lowered saddles. Tuned and tested. Tomorrow I have a set of Hex Key wrenches coming tomorrow with other supplies and will adjust truss then but I think I will like them on this bass too once I get time to play a bit.

Hope the strings work well on your P bass. Just don't hurt yourself finding out.

Pretty good, thanks. I got a pint of blood yesterday to get my blood numbers up. Chemo takes a toll. Yes it does. My wife went through Chemo and Radiation treatments in 2005-and part of 2006. It really sapped her
