Have started learning this tune ,thanks to a generous person posting the notation and tab on a play-along on youtube.
It has become my favorite "solo bass" piece of the moment.
Catchy riff and then how cool is the start of the walking bass part !

I've never played it, but have always liked this version:

I know the bass parts (the melody) on bass, and the chords on guitar, and part of the solo on guitar.
I've never played it in a band setting though.
Great tune!

I played it many, many years ago. Every sixteen or 32 bars it modulates a half step or a whole step up (sorry, my memory is really fuzzy on this), and then modulates down after the appropriate number of bars. So, at least one player in the band needs to keep track of the bars and signal the rest when it's time to modulate up or down.
The song is definitely a gas to play, especially for a bass player.
Have fun with it!
