Anyone here familiar with Breedlove guitars? I just found out the Sweetwater is now a dealer.

The USA ones are very nice, and very pricey. The offshore ones are also very nice, and well priced.
In a USA model, I'd definitely look at used, and avoid the depreciation.

They have a "modern" sound, kind of Taylor-ish.
And I can tell you this from experience: if you don't love it and decide to let it go, they can be a very tough sell.

Anyone here familiar with Breedlove guitars? I just found out the Sweetwater is now a dealer. I have an Atlas AC/SR+ from 2006. It's a concert design, "crafted in Korea" and designed/finished at the Oregon plant. Kind of heavy and a little difficult to play standing up. It has the older Fishman Classic 4T preamp with the controls accessible on the top upper bout - I'm not a fan of the new soundhole volume and tone wheels. Plays and sounds pretty good but the action is a little high for single note picking. And... it has the bridge truss system, of which there's much heated debate on its merits and flaws. It probably adds to the weight. It came with a nice hardshell case. I believe I paid just over a grand for this guitar new back then.
Fast forward to today, its seems the closest mode I could find online is the Pursuit Exotic Concert CE in terms of price point specs. It has the newer LR Baggs EAS preamp system with the soundhole controls. Not sure if it has the bridge truss system. Comes with a gig bag.
