Anyone bought one? Played through one? Heard good things but haven't had a chance to try one out... yet.

I had an actual '68 Vibro Champ that I stupidly sold back in the '90s because I thought I needed an amp that had reverb. Maybe they're into something here.

I haven't but I have a bug up my butt when it comes to tube rectifing, I gotta have one. I know it's goofy but that's me. This amp doesn't have a tube rectifyer so I personally would pass.

My VOX AC15CC1 has a SS rectifier (with 'SAG' circuit) and sounds great.

If it was me, I'd get a vintage Vibrochamp and a reverb pedal.

And I haven't checked this through and through but I'm pretty sure you could get an older VibroChamp and a pedal for less than the new amp will cost. But you will need patience for the right amp at the right price.
The downside in getting an older one is possibly doing some routine maintenance.
And you'll have a tube rectifier!! 🙃
After all that you might be further ahead to buy new

If it was me, I'd get a vintage Vibrochamp and a reverb pedal. The price of Champs and VCs has gone up quite a bit in recent weeks.

If it was me, I'd get a vintage Vibrochamp and a reverb pedal. That's what I have. Of course the original only has an 8" speaker, but I've never found that a problem. The reverb pedal I use is a Boss RV3.

I have one. Traded my Quilter Aviator CUB straight across for it and have not looked back. I like the fact that it is not a reissue. Perfect for at home, so I can crank it some but not disturb my neighbors. The digital hall reverb is fine. Yeah, not for purists but again, this is not a true replica. (I grew up playing the original Fenders and it is good enough for me.) One thing different about the amp is...*normally*...I keep bass lower than treble on any Fender amp. Not so on this one...bass on 6, treble on 4. (If I crank volume to 10 I reduce both bass and treble to 2.)
I use a 2019 ash-bodied/maple board Special Edition Cabronita, with TV Jones Classics. (1 of 150.) Great tonal complement to the '68 Custom Vibro Champ Reverb. At times, though rarely, I use a BOSS Waza Craft Blues Driver.
My only other amp is a rare (1 of 255) Pro Junior IV LTD. Fawn covering with a P10Q, instead of the brighter P10R. So, obviously, for me little 10" combos are desirable. With that all in mind I recommend the Vibro Champ for similar situations.

I do like a lot about these… including upping the speaker to a 10”.
It sounds like I could get over the rectifier. 😊

I have a SF VC from the mid 1970s. It's the second one I've owned. Bought one new for $149 in about 1972 but sold it later. Also have a 1959 5F1 Champ. They are both great bedroom amps but I actually prefer the 5E3 tweed Deluxe to either the AA764 or 5F1 circuits. Of course, both of those are more expensive.
