Meet my 1954 Oahu Sunshine. 6V6, 6SL7, a 5Y3 and an 8" Rola speaker. The amp is completely stock right down to the power cord. It plays fine, but I'll be recapping it and updating to a grounded plug/cord. Super clean and straight! A true closet classic.

I saw this one On 'Uncle Doug's' the other day. Yours is the bees knees! It must have languished in hiding for many years. What a find! Anyway, you may enjoy the linked video.

Thanks for the link to the brochure, Bopper!
This even came with the original little packet with the spare fuse.

What a cool little retro amp. Congratulations Eric! Don't you wish you could get it for the $73.27 it sold for back then? What is the wattage rating?

It’s probably 5-6w.

Leftee, that’s a super clean Oahu. Nicely done sir. My father-in-law had one exactly like that and I had the privilege of using it back in the 80s. When both my in laws passed my wife and I searched the house, but couldn’t find it. It had a nice midrange bell tone. Most likely meant for steel guitar.

Very nice. I noticed that there are currently a couple of these previously owned by Jay Farrar of Son Volt for sale on Reverb.

I don't see those, but there is one like mine - albeit not as nice condition - for more than I paid for this one. I got the cap can yesterday. I think I'll swap that out and put a 3 prong plug/cord on it tonight.
NM - I found them.
