I have not used my amp or electrics in a couple years. I fired the amp (hrdx) and pedal board up with my G&L a couple nights ago. Guitar is fine but the amp pedal have serious buzz issues. Wiggling the knobs can make it come or go. Guess I will open them up and give them a breath of fresh canned air. You think that will help or is there a better approach? Thanks.

Check it for bees... Swap cable the guitar cable first. Tube amps sometimes decline if not used(caps need to be recharged apparently). Plug directly in the amp...if no buzz then... jump into the pedalboard cable swamp and clean inputs and outputs. Maybe an artistic wiggle will fix the buzz somewhere.

I have already done the cable swap and straight in. I took the back off the amp and blew the dust out with canned air, cranked all the pots a lot. Pedal board is next. Thanks!

Canned air isn't your solution for this, you want contact cleaner, DeOxit or similar.
