It appears some folks are having difficulty with this. Here's how:
1. Place your cursor in your post where you want the pic to appear.
2. Click the Add Attachment button in the upper right of the Create Post box. 3. In the pop-up, click the Add Files button. Navigate to your pic on your local machine. Select it and click the Open button. 4. In the pop-up, click Insert.
5. Click the Done button.
If you want to add more than one pic to your post, just repeat the steps.
If you want to delete a pic from your post later on, edit the post and click the Add/Edit Attachments button. All pics in your post will be listed there, and you can delete them from within that little pop-up window by selecting the image and clicking the Delete button. Click Save. Done.
Cheers and happy 2020 to all!

It seems to work (for me) if I select the red "Reply" button, as opposed to the "Post Quick Reply" button. Attachments:

Yeah...but I don't think you have the above option when just going through the "Quick Reply" version. If you look at the Help feature at the top, it really doesn't explain it as clearly as Peegoo did. So hopefully his step-by-step helps. And, yes...you gotta do it in a full "Reply" version.

Cowboy, you're correct. After clicking reply, you can also drag a pic from your hard drive into a post that's been started. When you do, you'll see a screen that says 'drop here'. Click on the X and then you'll see a screen that looks like this...
