Built myself a small board for the mastering desk so I could play there if I didn't want the hassle of mics and the big room, or wanted foot control while at the console and not in the direct amp blast (which, well, may sound good on tape, but...I don't want to be in front of 120+db ugly for hours!) Cheap, functional, efficient enough. Not in order of appearance (maximized for space and which I want fast footswitch access to as priority. In (usually a Warm Audio Jet Phaser feeds the board, but it's mother of huge and I wasn't wasting board space)> TC Zeus Klon(e) > Behringer HM-2 clone (which sounds better in many respects than my real MIJ HM-2) > Bogner Ecstasy Blue > Bogner Ecstasy Red > Stomping Stones Pest Tattern > RE-202 > Bogner Ubershall > board/amp/main room/whatever.

I have never liked them.
Other people can sound good with them, I just don't get it.
I tried them again when I got the Marshall, still no dice.
Radically preferred the Rangemaster and the Bee Baa ugly boosts.
