Over the years I've picked up several Fulltone pedals (two Fulldrives, an OCD, the GT500), with the most recent and best for my tastes being the Plimsoul. I had been thinking of trying the newest version, the MK2, but as the plug has been pulled on Fulltone I guess I can go to Reverb to look for a used one, but can anyone a suggest similar pedal?

I’m sure some of the smaller pedal builders could build you a clone.

I have the original Plimsoul that's been on my board since I bought it. I also have a J.Rockett Melody that I can adjust to sound very similar to the Plimsoul. It's the Dude with an EQ and is very versatile.

I went from a Plimsoul to a Wampler Euphoria, no regrets. Covers a lot of ground if 1 dirt pedal is all you want. I've since (and inexplicably since I don't gig anymore) added a couple of other drive pedals to my board and use the Euphoria as a 1st stage dirt/crunch. But it can do a lot more. Trick with this pedal is to keep the bass knob nearly buried.

I’ve no experience with the Plimsoul but have enjoyed all of my Fulltone pedals. Before I read this thread I had no idea Mike had called it quits. Late to the party again. After a bit of research I can’t say as I blame him.
