Back on the old FDP, someone posted the settings for using an acoustic electric guitar.
I’ve forgotten who and what the settings were. It worked great though.
Anyone?

Oh my, I found it in an email folder. I didn’t think I saved it! Here it is if anyone is interested. Set the treble and bass tone controls to 0 with the mid maxed (10 or 11 or whatever the V-16 is). Supposedly this setting essentially bypasses the tone circuit(s) on the V-16 allowing the amp to function more like an actual acoustic guitar amp.

Yes, that is correct according to Steve Dallman (sp?) from the old FDP. Steve really knew his stuff when it came to amps. I had a V-16 for many years and often used this setting when amplifying an acoustic guitar. It worked well enough for me that I never did get an actual acoustic guitar amp.
FYI: This is my first post here in a couple of years, used to post more often on the old site.

I forgot the settings because it’s been too long since I’ve used it for an acoustic. Glad you’re back, post more often.
